Day 1 Month 2

Today was the arrival of good ol' Aunt Flo. I am disappointmed that I didn't get pregnant on the first try but I started with the cards stacked against me after the Fed-Ex fisasco delivering the swimmers. I knew the timing of the insemination was way off but I have been holding out hope for the past two weeks. These past two weeks have been such a long wait. I had pretty much convinced myself that I was pregnant because of all the weird cramping that I had. I must have been fighting something because a couple nights I went to bed at 8:30, I was completely exhausted. I think this month will be a bit easier becaues I know what to expect.

Engagment Ring

I decided to use my marquise diamond form my old wedding ring and put into my new engagement ring. It's a beautiful stone and I think it will look stunning in the new mount. I also decided to get a matching wedding band made for the other side of the ring and have them both put on a the same time. I know it's traditional to get the wedding band put on right before you get married. Since we are not going to have a traditional wedding I want it on now with the other band to make the ring symetrical.

My Dad is considering taking us on a family vacation to Cancun. I would love to get married in Cancun on the beach. I think it would be very intimate and persoanl with just my family. I wish he would make up his mind when he wants to do this vacation becasuse

This two week wait is going to drive me crazy! This week has been SO stressful maining because of the bad timing of the IUI because of Fed-Ex. I have been extremely bitchy it feels like I'm PMS'ing but it's not time. I have had some mild cramping, well I don't even know if I would call it cramping somthing just feels different. I have been peeing more often but then agin I have been drinking tons of diluted Gatorade.

Engagement Ring!

OMG Gary bought me an engagement ring!

I have been really looking on the internet and at Dawson's for rings. I took my old wedding ring into Dawson's to see how much they would give me for my marquis to trade up. They will give me $1220 for my diamond and $723 for the mounting. It's pretty close to what we paid for it but I just don't know if I want to get rid of the mounting. I have been looking at a Nili two tone ring but it wasn't exactly what I wanted so Dana said he could make me one like I wanted. The price he quoted me to remake the ring with approximately .85 carets of diamonds in the mounting without a center stone was $3126. The quote on a round center stone was $7242 for a 1.02 caret and $5082 for a .84 caret.I was browsing the internet looking at rings and looked on E-bay for Nili rings & I found one from Nebraska Diamonds that I loved when I first saw it. I showed it to Gary when he got home and he didn't really say much but I kept hinting around that it was a good deal and I really like it. Monday morning at work I couldn't think about anything but that ring. I kept checking E-Bay to make sure it had not sold and when I went home for lunch I brought it up again & Gary said I could order it. I told him he had to push the confirm button so he did. It should be delivered tomorrow! It has 24 small round diamonds and 10 square diamonds. It doesn't have a center stone but the prongs are for a marquis. I really think I want a round center stone. I had Nebraska Diamond send me prices for a ¾ to 7/8 caret $2500-$3200. That is SO much cheaper than what Dawson's wants.
